Additional information about the PADI Advanced Freediver course:
The PADI Advanced Freediver course consists of a theory part, two pool sessions and two open water (depth) sessions. You can study the theory at home in your own pace. During the swimming pool sessions, we continue with static and dynamic freediving and learn advanced freediving techniques and rescue skills. In the open water, we will go into depth in 2 sessions and teach rescue and advanced techniques like free falling. We will also further refine free immersion and constant weight techniques. After the course, you will be able to comfortably dive to a depth of 20-24 metres.
In the Netherlands, we can dive in the local lakes during the summer months. If it is too cold or you prefer not to dive outdoors, we can use a deep indoor pool (diving tower) such as Dive4life and NEMO33. A NEMO33 deep session is available for an additional fee. The extra cost for the lesson and entrance to the indoor pool is not included in the standard course price. We try to schedule sessions on one day.
