AIDA Freediver courses

AIDA International is the worldwide federation for breath hold diving, that was founded in 1992 to further the development of freediving. We offer all AIDA Freediver courses from basic to master level. Children can playfully learn water and safety skills in the AIDA Youth programme. In addition to PADI from AIDA Freediver courses, we also offer unique surf survival training and freedive clinics for diving clubs.

AIDA Freediver course overview

AIDA 1* introduction

An introduction into the basics of freediving. These are the pool sessions only.

AIDA 2* Freediver

In this course you will learn the basic principles of freediving. The goal is a comfortable dive to a depth of 12–20 meters.

AIDA 3* Freediver Advanced

In this advanced course you will learn techniques to dive deeper and longer. The goal is a constant weight dive to a depth of 24–30 meters.

AIDA 4* Freediver Master

During this course you will learn how to refine and adapt your lifestyle and training in order to ultimately reach the highest level of freediving. Depth 32–38m. Tailor-made program, in which you will also qualify as an Assistant Instructor

AIDA Youth programme

The AIDA youth programme aims at teaching water and safety skills to children and adolescents. The AIDA Youth Programme consists of four courses — Bronze Dolphin, Silver Dolphin, Gold Dolphin, (6 to 11 years), and AIDA Junior (12 to 15 years).
