Martin explains everything very clearly and helped me achieve AIDA 2. There was a very positive atmosphere, and in addition to the pool sessions, the in-depth session was also very educational and enjoyable.

This was MORE than worth my time and money. Martin and his assistants did everything they could to guide me and the other students to depth, clearly and safely, while enriching us with valuable information you'll carry with you for the rest of your lives. Thank you!

Absolutely loved doing learning to freedive with TANGAROA. The opportunity to learn about freediving, the physiology and the psychology behind it was such an inspiring journey. I learned a lot (about myself) and felt so safe in the process of all of this. Very grateful!

I had an incredible experience learning how to free dive with Tangaroa. The course was well structure, great materials provided, and exemplar teachers. The main Instructor Martin is an experience free diver with a gift for teaching, this made the theory and practical lessons easy to follow and very enjoyable.
What a liked the most was the good pace of the class, nobody gets pushed beyond their limits, the friendly environment, and emphasis on safety. This has provided me with all the tool to free dive with confidence and enjoy the connection with my body and water.

I highly recommend Tangaroa for anybody wanting to learn how to free dive, in a safety, friendly, and fun environment.

I took the AIDA2 freediving course with Martin from Tangaroa. During my son's introductory dive, I saw some freedivers in the pool, which looked interesting. I ended up with Martin through Fataaquana. I've now had two pool sessions and am impressed by the pleasant and personal approach to instruction. Martin explains the theory in a pleasant way, and you can also work through it at your own pace. I'm looking forward to the session in the dive tank at Dive4Life. Thanks to Martin, I received a good explanation and tips for clearing my ears for the first time in my life. I've been diving for 20 years and have had ear problems practically every dive. But now, the last few dives have been pain-free, which is so wonderful. As far as I'm concerned, this is already a success, even though I still have to complete the training. Thank you Martin and Tangaroa for the wonderful experience.

The Surf Apnea is a very useful course. It gives you a better insight and techniques to apply under water. It will definitely boost my confidence. Looking forward for my next surf wipeout!

Martin lays a foundation for the sport in a very pleasant and clear way. I took the surf apnea training with him. It gives me an extra boost of confidence in the water when you're hitting waves outside your comfort zone. By truly understanding what happens to your body in these situations, you learn to recognize it and even start to enjoy venturing outside your comfort zone. The training also definitely got me excited about freediving. Great support from David and Jamie too. Thanks, and I hope to see you soon!
